I'd like to thank Annie Bertram, not only for being an amazing photographer (and everybody should look at her art), but also for including the link to George Orwell's 1984 on her blog. It's the movie of 1984, made in, appropriately, 1984. No, it isn't "out of date". Orwell made it clear in the book that the year the events take place could be 1984, 1948 or 2084. No-one in the world of Big Brother knows the real date because history keeps getting rewritten by the Ministry of Truth.
