With the Needle that Sings in Her Heart
Last night I stayed up into the wee small hours of the morning to watch the live webcast of Amanda Palmer's play 'With the Needle that Sings in Her Heart' which was performed at her old high school in Lexington, Massachusetts. The play began at 7.30 pm EST but, since I'm in England, that meant after midnight here.
It was well worth it. The play was a triumph. I cried. I was very moved by the performance.
I heard about the show from following Neil Gaiman's Twitter feed, which is well worth subscribing to.
