Natural Voice Versus Autotune Voice

Paxman Brand Debate

Weird controversy at the moment over Jeremy Paxman's remarks in the Radio Times. Weird because anyone who had been paying attention would already know that Paxman's opinions are rubbish. A few years ago Jeremy Paxman hosted a TV debate about animal experiments. Being the buffoon that he is Paxman began the debate by declaring that nobody denies that such experiments were necessary and so, in his opinion, the debate was about the details of how the experiments were done. Absolutely ridiculous. If it were true that nobody disputed whether the experiments were necessary then animal experimentation wouldn't be the controversial issue that it is and wouldn't have been the subject of a TV debate in the first place. I've been "sick of" Paxman's "tawdry pretences" since then...

Three versions of the same recording.

An audio triptych:

Firstly: The natural version. Recorded on Android.

Secondly: The same as the acoustic recording but this time with an enormous amount of plate reverb added in Audacity

Thirdly: The same but this time filtered through the Paulstretch effect in Audacity:
