Culling the 8tracks mixes

Yeah, I've got rid of nearly all the mixes I made on 8tracks.com now. If they're going to allow onto their network tracks which violate their terms of use and then blame people who innocently choose those tracks from the list of available music... well, I'm angry. I've deleted all the mixes I made which contained big time commercial breadhead artists and kept only the ones with music by me, by other DIY musicians, by musicians who've given tracks as free downloads or by artists from many years ago whose work has passed into the public domain.

Peter,

David Porter here - very sorry to hear of this. We had to send a blanket note based on an ID3 tag comparison, and along the way we've had a handful of screw-ups. Yours sounds to fall in this category.

If you haven't already, please send me an email at dp at 8tracks dot com, and let me see what I can do.
